Component catalog

Find commercial spacecraft components with the figures their makers publish, and see where each figure comes from.

0 of 4 steps done
  1. Open the catalog

The catalog lists commercial components so that a design is benchmarked on products you can buy. The sources are NASA’s State of the Art of Small Spacecraft Technology report and the vendors’ own pages and datasheets.

This page needs a free account.

    Open the page
  2. Search and filter

Type a name, a vendor or what it does. Narrow by Subsystem and Vendor, or tick Only products with published power figures.

  3. Read a component

Each card shows the mass, power and other figures that were published. Every figure shows where it was read and when. Where a source publishes no figure, none is shown. Check the vendor’s own document before you rely on a figure.

  4. Administrators: refresh from the sources

Refresh now reads every source again, keeps what changed and marks products that vendors have removed. It takes a few minutes and the list fills as it goes.

Good to know
  • The same components appear in the Component Library of a concurrent design session.
