Your students build a real satellite.
Start an accredited university space club and give your institution a place in the new African space economy.
From design to orbit in 4 steps
A path designed for French-speaking universities that want to train space engineers who can do the work, not only theorists.
Design
Mission architecture, system requirements and link budgets, with the NMD mission design tools.
Assemble
Printed circuits, ESP32 sensors, TinyGS antennas. Students work on real hardware.
Test
Integration, verification and validation. Industrial protocols from end to end.
Launch
Optional real orbital mission. Mission 237: the first network of African CubeSats.
What your university gains
NMD certification
Every certified engineer receives an official NMD certificate. Your university joins the NMD French-speaking space training network.
Mission 237
The first constellation of African CubeSats dedicated to training. Your students operate a real mission in low Earth orbit.
Hands-on training
24 hours of hands-on work: from soldering the PCB to operating the TinyGS ground station.
End-to-end support
NMD delivers, installs, trains and supports. No prior space expertise is required from your team.
Permanent infrastructure
The TinyGS ground station stays at the university, a lasting teaching asset for every following class.
200+ NMD certified
Join a network of space engineers trained and certified to the same standard from Cameroon.
Mission 237: the first African constellation
NMD is developing the first constellation of African CubeSats dedicated to university training. Partner universities get priority access to launch slots. Africa represents 52% of the space contracts not yet awarded by 2030. Your students will be ready.
Three paths, one goal
Each university chooses the level of commitment that fits its ambitions and its context.
