Look around before you sign up

The home page explains what the platform offers. You can already open the Earth Observation maps, the 3D satellite demo and this guide without an account.

Create your free account

Enter your first name, last name, email address and a password of at least 8 characters. The organisation field is optional. If you study at a JFN university, write JFN in the organisation field and the NMD Association membership is added to your account for free.

Sign in

Use the email and password you chose. If you forget the password, press Forgot password? and enter your email. A reset link is sent to you and it works for 1 hour.

Choose English or French

The EN and FR switch is in the top bar, on the sign in page and in the mobile menu. The whole platform changes language at once. The choice is remembered on this device and saved to your account when you are signed in.

Open your dashboard

The dashboard shows where you stopped in your course, your lessons completed, your mission designs, your membership and your certification status. Use Resume learning to go straight back to your lesson.

Find your way in the menu

The left menu groups the platform: Academy and Certification to learn, Mission Design, Components, Research watch, Radiation, Space Awareness and Earth Observation to work, Tutorials for guided labs, Procedures for workflows, then Webinars, Space Club, Membership and Settings. On a phone, open it with the menu button.

Ask for help on any page

The round question mark button at the bottom right of every page opens the guide for the page you are on. Choose the interactive tour and the guide points at the buttons for you, step by step.
