  1. Open the Launches tab

In Space Awareness, open the third tab, Launches. The list shows the next launches in the world in order of time, each with a countdown, the rocket, the company, the pad and its status: Go, To be confirmed, Date to be decided or On hold.

    Open the page
  2. Find a launch

Type a rocket, a company, a pad or a mission in the search box, choose a company in the list, or tick Next 7 days. The pads on the Earth follow the list.

  3. Open a launch

Press a launch, or a pad on the Earth, to open it. The Earth turns to the pad. You see the time in UTC, the launch window, the orbit, the kind of mission and, when there is one, the chance of launch on time, the reason for a hold and the weather. Watch live or Watch the webcast opens the video of the company.

Good to know
  • Times are shown in your time zone. A launch that only has a date, without a time, shows Date only and no countdown.
  • Dates move often. The list is read again every ten minutes, and the data comes from Launch Library 2 of The Space Devs.
  • The Earth shows the day and the night where they really are now, with the city lights, the clouds and the glint of the Sun on the sea.
