Agreements: confidentiality and acknowledgements of debt

Prepare a confidentiality agreement or an acknowledgement of debt, send it for signature by email, and follow it until it is signed.

0 of 5 steps done
  1. Choose the kind of agreement

Open Agreements and press New agreement. Choose among a confidentiality agreement, a mutual confidentiality agreement, an acknowledgement of debt to a supplier, to a member of staff, or another acknowledgement of debt. Choose the language.

This page needs a free account.

    Open the page
  2. Fill in the other party

Enter the full name of the person who signs, their email address, and their company or position if any. For a member of staff, pick the person and the name and email are filled. The signing link is sent to the email. Add a registration or identity number when you have it.

  3. Say what it is about

For confidentiality, write what the discussions are about and how many years confidentiality lasts after they end. For a debt, write the amount owed in FCFA, what the debt is for, and the documents that prove it. Choose One payment or Instalments, and add each instalment with its date and amount.

  4. Sign for the organisation and send

Open the agreement, draw your signature and retype your password. An administrator signs this kind of agreement for the organisation. Then the other party receives a link by email. If the email could not be sent, copy the link and send it yourself.

  5. Follow it to the signature

The page shows What happened: sent, opened by the other party, signed. Send a reminder, Send a new link when the link expired, or Cancel. For a debt, the debtor writes the amount in words at the moment of signing, as the law on proof of a sum of money asks.

Good to know
  • Check the name and the email before you send. The link works only for the person it was made for.
